<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a defect of prior technology by a low cost exhaust gas processing plant with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to a plant including an exhaust piping (10) which includes an oxidation catalyst (12), a selective contact reduction catalyst (16) including a chemically active porous body (36), and an injection means (54) injecting reducer into the exhaust piping (10), and processing pollutant included in an exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine. The selective contact reduction catalyst (16) includes at least one chemically inactive passage (42) in which exhaust gas flows.
