<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can suppress a shift of an image formation position caused by a variation of a conveyance speed of a medium to be recorded. <P>SOLUTION: An interval of scan lines on a photosensitive drum 28 at a nip position is controlled to be changed in a direction in which a virtual scan line interval on paper 3 is uniformed in accordance with a speed variation of the paper 3 when the presence or absence of the nip to the paper 3 by the photosensitive drum 28 changes. The shift of the image formation position caused by the speed variation of the paper 3 can thus be reduced, so that the quality of a formed image can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
