<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a camera system that can bias a lens barrel by appropriate force in accordance with the type of the lens barrel; a camera; and a lens barrel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The camera system includes: the lens barrel (200) which is attached to the camera (100) and has a lens side pawl part (203) used for the attachment; and the camera (100) which has a camera side pawl part (103) configured such that the lens side pawl part (203) is engaged therewith in common regardless of the type of the lens barrel (200), and an biasing means (108) biasing the lens barrel (200) in a direction where joining between the lens barrel (200) and the camera (100) gets strong in such a state that the lens side pawl part (203) is engaged with the camera side pawl part (103).
