<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin-type lithium secondary battery capable of obtaining a high operating voltage and high current density, and being superior in safety, by virtue of its being a solid. <P>SOLUTION: The coin-type lithium secondary battery 1a includes a battery element unit formed by laminating two battery elements each of which has a positive electrode 21, a solid electrolyte 22, and a negative electrode 23; a metallic case 3a, facing the positive electrode 21 of the battery element unit and concurrently serving as a first electrode terminal; a metal sealing plate 4 facing the negative electrode 23 of the battery element unit and serving as a second electrode terminal; a gasket 5a for insulating the metallic case 3a from the metal sealing plate 4; and a spring 6, to enhance the contact pressure between a collector 231 and the negative electrode 23, the contact pressure between the negative electrode 23 and the solid electrolyte 22, and the contact pressure between the solid electrolyte 22 and the positive electrode 21, in each battery element 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
