RECEPTION SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING HIGH-SPEED MODULATED OPTICAL SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical reception system in which light receiving circuits for receiving optical signals are arranged in an array shape.

SOLUTION: The light receiving circuits LR incorporated with photo sensors are arranged in an array (n×m) shape of arbitrary rows (n) and columns (m). Signals from the light receiving circuits LR are connected to optical signal amplifier circuits (DR1-4, DC1-4, RR1-4, RC1-4) for every row and every column, and connected to a light receiving position candidate detecting circuit 224 upwardly and to right. Each light receiving circuit LR and an optical data receiving circuit 222 are connected in columns and rows via switches (SRnm and SCnm) through the optical signal amplifier circuits (DR1-4, DC1-4, RR1-4, RC1-4). Regarding a light receiving circuit LR which receives light, its receiving position is detected by the light receiving position candidate detecting circuit 224. In order to receive an optical signal, the switches are controlled and the light receiving circuit LR at the detected position is connected to the optical data receiving circuit 222, thereby receiving data.
