摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting instrument capable of reducing effect on lamp characteristics by restraining temperature rise of a lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting instrument A has an substantially box-shaped shade 1 opening in the front side. A reflecting mirror 2 forming a reflecting surface 2c in a paraboloidal profile is housed in the shade 1, and the lamp 3 with an one-side base is also housed in the shade 1. The lamp 3 is substantially in parallel with the opening surface of the paraboloidal surface for making a lamp axis form a reflecting surface 2c of the reflecting mirror 2, and is arranged to make the lamp axis locate on a focus of the paraboloidal surface.
