<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting instrument capable of reducing effect on lamp characteristics by restraining temperature rise of a lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting instrument A has an substantially box-shaped shade 1 opening in the front side. A reflecting mirror 2 forming a reflecting surface 2c in a paraboloidal profile is housed in the shade 1, and the lamp 3 with an one-side base is also housed in the shade 1. The lamp 3 is substantially in parallel with the opening surface of the paraboloidal surface for making a lamp axis form a reflecting surface 2c of the reflecting mirror 2, and is arranged to make the lamp axis locate on a focus of the paraboloidal surface. The reflecting mirror 2 is arranged so that an oblong hole 2a is penetrated at a section for making an irradiating light from the lamp 3 reflect in the direction incident to the lamp 3 on the reflecting surface 2c and the major diameter direction of the hole 2a is substantially in parallel with the lamp axis of the lamp 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
