PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for generating environment-friendly clean electric power using the falling of a weight body are provided to produce electricity as the weight body compresses a compression part, falling along an inclined surface. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for generating environment-friendly clean electric power using the falling of a weight body comprises a weight body(10), a guide part(20), a lift(30), compression part(40), and a generating part(50). The weight body drops at a fixed height. The guide part provides the falling path of the weight body. The lift is connected to the bottom of the guide part and returns the weight body to the fixed height. The compression part is projected from the surface of the guide part. The generating part generates the electricity by the descent movement of the compression part.
