<p>A drive device, wherein a reciprocating displacement of an electrical-mechanical conversion element is efficiently transmitted to movable members and wherein the drive device allows an empty space to be effectively utilized. A drive device (10) is provided with an electrical-mechanical conversion element (13) having first and second end surfaces (13a, 13b) facing each other in the extending and contracting direction of the electrical-mechanical conversion element, a vibrating friction section (14) mounted to the second end surface (13b) of the electrical-mechanical conversion element, and movable members (121, 122) frictionally joined to the vibrating friction section. The movable members can move in the extending and contracting direction of the electrical-mechanical conversion element. The drive device (10) is provided with a vibration transmitting member (19) provided between the second end surface (13b) of the electrical-mechanical conversion element (13) and an end surface (14a) of the vibrating friction section (14). The center axis line (13o) of the electrical-mechanical conversion element (13) and the center axis line (14o) of the vibrating friction section (14) are not on the same rectilinear line.</p> |
