<p>A vibrating device constructed from a reduced number of parts and also having high vibration transmission efficiency. A vibrating device (1) is provided with an elastic plate (11) and a piezoelectric vibrating plate (13). The elastic plate (11) is provided with a fixation section (14), a vibrating section (15), and a connecting section (16). The fixation section (14) is fixed to a member (10) to which the fixation section (14) is to be fixed. The fixation section (14) has a fixation surface (14b) to be fixed to the member (10), and the vibrating section (15) is disposed generally parallel to the fixation surface (14b) with a space provided therebetween. The connecting section (16) connects to each other one end (14a) of the fixation section (14) in the direction along the surface of the fixation section and one end (15c) of the vibrating section (15) in the direction along the surface of the vibrating section (15). The piezoelectric vibrating plate (13) is installed on that surface (15b) of the vibrating section (15) which is on the fixation section (14) side. At least a part of the piezoelectric vibrating plate (13) is not overlapped with the fixation section (14) in the direction (N) normal to that surface (15b) of the vibrating section (15) which is on the fixed section (14) side.</p>
