<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor automatically generating the proper merchandise display configurations of a plurality types of displayed merchandise for sale stored in a merchandise display system. <P>SOLUTION: A data processor 800 acquires the merchandise sales precedence TSR for each type of merchandise for sale such as a cigarette pack TP and the position sales precedence PSR for each merchandise holding position PKS, and generates and displays the merchandise display configurations PDF for displaying the cigarette pack TP in a cigarette display system 1000.
