<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably deploy an airbag even if it is a seat bag of a slightly complicated form. <P>SOLUTION: A side airbag unit 15 is built in a side support 2b of a seat back 2 covered with a seat skin 8 having sewing parts 11, 12 at a plurality of positions. The side airbag unit 15 includes an airbag 16 and an inflator 20. The airbag 16 is deployed by breaking a breaking portion 17 formed at the seat skin 8 so as to include the second sewing part 12 extending in an oblique direction. An upper end 15a of the side airbag unit 15 is positioned above a portion near the oblique breaking portion 17b, and a fourth abutment cloth 18d sewn to one side of the oblique breaking portion 17b is arranged so as to cover the upper end 15a from above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
