<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost in an electric power steering device, by realizing an elastic shock absorbing member for freely adjusting the size of resiliency and a shape in response to the size of torque transmitted by a spline engaging part and a shape of an installation space. <P>SOLUTION: The elastic shock absorbing member is formed as an elastic ring assembly 23 constituted by densely gathering a plurality of elastic rings 24 and 24 having the same item. The number and arrangement of the respective elastic rings 24 and 24 for constituting this elastic ring assembly 23, are properly changed in response to the size of the torque transmitted by the spline engaging part and a shape and the size of an annular clearance 17c being the installation space of the elastic ring assembly 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
