MANEUVER SUPPORT APPARATUS

Cameras (C_1 to C_4) are provided at different positions above a ship so that the cameras can each have a view across the deck and the water surface.  A CPU (12p) combines the respective four field images outputted from the cameras (C_1 to C_4) with reference to the reference height.  The ship has a breadth that decreases as the height increases, and the CPU (12p) superimposes a figure image of the ship corresponding to a height higher than the reference height on an all-round bird's-eye view image produced by a combining operation.  The CPU (12p) outputs part of the all-round bird's-eye view image on which the graphic image is superimposed to a display device (16) as a maneuver support image.  The CPU (12p) further changes the level of the reference height in response to a height change instruction.
