The hood (6) has a head part (14) for covering a head of a wearer, where the head part has a clamping field. A connection element i.e. hook and loop fastener element, is arranged at the clamping field and provided for connection with a respirator mask. The clamping field is arranged adjacent to a vision opening (15). Another connection element is provided for cooperating with the former connection element at the head part. The latter connection element is arranged at a cheek area of the head part, where the cheek area is arranged adjacent to a clamping area. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a respiratory mask for connection with a hood, comprising a protection part (2) an arrangement of a hood and a respiratory mask.
