PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for laminating metal, applicable as a laminate film for a two-piece can and excelling in moldability in manufacturing a can and in preserving the flavor of beverage, and to provide a film laminated metal sheet and a film laminated metal container. SOLUTION: This polyester film for laminating the metal sheet includes a polyester base material layer and a coating layer. The polyester base material layer is mainly composed of a copolymerized PET whose fusing point is 230-245°C, and contains 2-20 mol% of alkylene oxide units with the carbon number of 2 or more derived from a polyoxyalkylene glycol component and 0.01-1.0 wt.% of an antioxidant to the total acid content in a polyester resin composition. The weight average molecular weight A of the thermoplastic polyester resin composition is 40,000 or more, the coating layer includes a thickness of 0.002-0.5 g/m<SP>2</SP>, a low molecular weight lubricant component is contained, and the centerline average roughness of the surface is 0.03 or less.
