METHOD OF MONITORING MIXED STATE OF LUBRICANT INGREDIENT IN MEDICINAL PREPARATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting an optimal end point of mixing in a lubricant mixing step in a process for preparing a medicinal product.

SOLUTION: The method is for monitoring a lubricant ingredient in a medicinal preparation in real time or off-line with respect to the amount of the ingredient mixed and the evenness of mixing and spread state of the ingredient in the preparation. The method includes determining the total value of absorbance in a wavelength range including an absorption wavelength characteristic of the lubricant ingredient and using the value as an index to evaluate the amount of the ingredient mixed and the evenness of mixing and spread state of the ingredient in the medicinal preparation.
