<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular door opening/closing mechanism which effectively actualizes the will of the user with respect to a sliding door equipped with a door opening/closing driving means. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular door opening/closing mechanism is formed of: a door opening/closing driving mechanism for operating movement of the door toward an opening side and a closing side; a handle 3H extending in a door sliding direction; an operating space MS between the handle 3H and a door panel 3P, which movably accommodates the hand of the user along the sliding direction; an operation detecting means 30 inclusive of a transmitting section 31 for transmitting ultrasonic waves toward the interior of the operating space MS at an angle inclusive of a component along the sliding direction; and a control device 61 for determining a door movement operating direction by the door opening/closing driving mechanism, based on a detected hand moving direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
