PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power slide device for a vehicle seat including a screw rod freely rotatably supported by a screw rod support rail, and a nut member screwed with the screw rod and fixed to a nut member fixing rail, the nut member including a cover member made of a metal and a nut body member made of a synthetic resin, to obtain the power slide device having a high tolerance to an impact load by the metal cover member increasing a slip tolerance load of the screw rod and the feed nut. SOLUTION: In the power slide device for the vehicle seat, the cover member is provided with a pinched wall pinched between a nut body member and a nut member support rail and fixed to the nut member support rail, a pair of standing walls standing from both end parts of the pinched wall in an extending direction of the nut member support rail, and a partition wall connecting the pair of standing walls and opposing to the pinched wall.
