PURPOSE: A charged amount previous system of an electronic payment unit using a mobile phone and a method thereof are provided to wirelessly transfer the amount of money charged in the electronic settlement payment unit of the first user terminal through the information network to the electronic settlement payment unit of the second user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A first user terminal(100) confirms charge balance stored in a first electronic payment unit according to charge price transfer request information. A charge server(200) updates second request information in charge storage database. The charge server dispatches charge prices transfer completion of SMS(Short Message Service). A second user terminal originates charge price transfer confirmation information inputted from the second user. The second user terminal updates the remainder of charge stored in the second electronic settlement payment unit.
