METHODS FOR CONTROL OF FLOWERING, SHORTENING THE GROWING PERIOD OF GINSENG PLANTS(PANAX GINSENG C.A.MEYER)

PURPOSE: A method for adjusting blooming and facilitating the growth of ginseng is provided to reduce a blooming period and a growing period of the ginseng into 5 months, and to reduce a dormancy period of the ginseng from 4 ~ 5 months to 1 month. CONSTITUTION: A method for adjusting blooming and facilitating the growth of ginseng includes the following steps: sorting and disinfecting extracted ginseng seedling(S110); precooling the ginseng seedling with vermiculite(S120); scattering 250ppm of gibberellins which is a plant growth regulator on the ginseng seedling(S130); storing the ginseng seedling in a Styrofoam box with the vermiculite(S140); taking out the ginseng seedling; and harvesting the ginseng seedling(S160).
