An inspection device for use on the joint zones of piping, piping accessories or other conduiting means where said joint zone includes a joint interface comprising two abutting flanges having exposed flange rims, said device comprising two or more outer housing elements (1) adapted to interlock and so adapt to the perimeter shape and sealably bear down upon said abutting flange rims wherein each outer housing element is jointed to an adjacent outer housing element by way of an over centre latch (2).
