PURPOSE: An actuator for a parking brake of a vehicle is provided to include a variable unit, a variable cam, a rotary cam and a cancelation cable and cancel the parking brake manually. CONSTITUTION: An actuator for a parking brake of a vehicle comprises a case, a screwnut(64), a motor(52), a screw(62), a parking cable(60) and a variant unit(70). The nut rotates in the case and has straight line movement. The motor is connected to the screwnut. The screw is connected to the screwnut in the case and has the straight line movement. A parking cable is connected to the screw and extended out of the case. The variant unit is located between the case and the screwnut. The variable unit controls the straight line movement of the nut and adjusts the distance between the nut and the case. The variant unit comprises a variable cam(72) a rotary cam(74) and a cancelation cable(76). The variable cam is connected to the nut. The rotary cam is connected to the variable cam. The cancelation cable is connected to the rotary cam and is extended out of the case to operate the rotational motion of the rotary cam. |
