An air suspension system for a multi-axle vehicle having at least one air bag 60 61 62 63 supporting each side 2 3 of each axle, a level controlling valve 64 65 for separately controlling air flow to the air bags on each side 2 3 respectively, separate air lines connecting each valve 64 65 and each of the air bags 60 61 62 63 on either side respectively, the separate air lines being such that substantially the same volume of air is supplied to each air bag 60 61 62 63 to maintain stability under changing driving conditions.
