<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swinging rotation testing apparatus which simultaneously performs the operations of swinging and rotating a test piece and which returns a movable part for moving the test piece to a prescribed position and holds the movable part thereat. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The swinging rotation testing apparatus 1 includes: a swing arm 10, swinging about a swinging center axis relative to a trestle 9; a spindle 30 rotating relative to the swing arm 10; a movable jig 50 connecting a test piece 2 to the spindle 30; and a fixing jig 49 connecting the test piece 2 to the trestle 9, wherein the test piece 2 is swung about the swinging central axis of the swing arm 10, and the test piece 2 is rotated about a rotational center axis of the spindle 30. A stopper mechanism 80 is provided, which holds the swing arm 10 and the spindle 30 to respective prescribed positions, when the operations of the swing arm 10 and the spindle 30 are stopped.
