<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a torque reduction based on fluid lubrication by increasing the thickness of a fluid film on a lip sliding part. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device comprises a seal lip having a sealed fluid side inclined face and a counter sealed fluid side inclined face, and an intermediate face provided between both inclined faces. A screw part is provided on the counter sealed fluid side inclined face for pumping operation to push back sealed fluid during rotation, a reverse screw part is provided on the intermediate face for pumping operation to suck the sealed fluid during rotation, and a second screw part is provided on the intermediate face at a site on the counter sealed fluid side beyond the reverse screw part for pumping operation to push back the sealed fluid during rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
