Provided are novel nitrogenous heterocyclic compounds, salts thereof, and fungicides for agricultural and horticultural use which each contain at least one of the compounds or salts as active ingredient and which can exert reliable effect and be safely used.  The nitrogenous heterocyclic compounds are represented by the general formula (I) [wherein R1 to R7 are each independently hydrogen, halogeno, C1-20 alkyl, or the like; X is halogeno, nitro, substituted or unsubstituted amino, hydroxy, or an organic group; n is an integer of 0 to 4; and Z is oxygen or sulfur, a group represented by the general formula: NR10 (wherein R10 is alkyl or the like), or the like].
