BIOASSAY SYSTEM FOR DETECTION OF PCBS, ENDOCRINE DISRUPTORS

PURPOSE: A biological analysis of polychlorinated biphenyl(PCBs) is provided to simply and economically analyze PCBs. CONSTITUTION: A method for analyzing polychlorinated biphenyl(PCBs) comprises a step of measuring protein expression of transthyretin or a step of measuring mRNA(messenger RNA) protein expression level of P450scc and P45017α relating to testosterone synthesis. The protein expression level of transthyretin in serum is increased when exposing to the PCBs. The protein expression level of P450scc and P45017α is decreased when exposing to the PCBs. The method also comprises a step of measuring gene expression of HSP70(heat shock protein 70) and HSP70-2 which is pivotal role in spermatogenesis.
