PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) service highly reliable by suppressing excessive increase/reduction of an allocated capacity with respect to a local and temporary increase of address allocation request.
SOLUTION: In a network where a plurality of segments including at least one DHCP server 2 are constituted in one address space, the address allocation capacity controller 1 controls an address allocation capacity of the segments and is provided with: an allocation remaining amount monitoring part for acquiring an address allocation remaining amount of the DHCP server; a stop risk rate calculation part for calculating a service stop risk rate of address allocation by the DHCP server for every segment on the basis of the address allocation remaining amount of the DHCP server; and an allocation capacity calculation part which sets limit on an increase/reduction amount in accordance with the service stop risk rate to calculate the allocation capacities of respective segments.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
