PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a color reproduction region common in a plurality of color reproducing devices, and to define it appropriately. SOLUTION: A common color gamut definition section 54 acquires the device profile and image data of a display unit 22 and printers 4-1-4-3 (each color reproducing device), defines one common color gamut to each color reproducing device according to arbitrary setting conditions inputted from a setting condition acquisition section 50, and performs an output to a profile change section 56. The profile change section 56 receives a compression program from a program database 504 according to compression conditions inputted from an inputting section 20 and the common color gamut inputted from the common color gamut definition section 54. The profile change section 56 receives the device profile of each color reproducing device, and compresses (changes) the color reproduction region of each color reproducing device according to the common color gamut inputted from the common color gamut definition section 54.
