<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control gain and directivity without increasing costs and upsizing a casing. <P>SOLUTION: In a portable RFID reader/writer 1, a conductive element 30 for forming a loop antenna is configured detachably to an element 21 of a dipole antenna 20, the conductive element 30 forming the loop antenna together with a part of the element 21 of the dipole antenna 20. By fitting the conductive element 30 to the element 21 of the dipole antenna 20, the loop antenna can be formed with the conductive element 30 and the part of the element 21 in the dipole antenna 20, thus appropriately controlling gain and directivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
