<p>The baby balance has a housing (1) and a scale pan (2) attached to the housing for the admission of a baby. The scale pan consists of a measuring equipment for the determination of the weight of the baby. A display (3) is provided for displaying the determined weight. The measuring equipment carries directly or indirectly an electrical linear measuring device (4) for measuring the baby and a coupling unit for coupling the electrical linear measuring device.
