PURPOSE:To perform the measurement of a length by using a calculator quickly, by providing input keys and an output display part on the same side of the secondary scale and the main scale of the vernier of the vernier calipers. CONSTITUTION:The secondary scale 2 is provided in the vernier 1 of the vernier calipers. A rod 3 is slidden in the vernier calipers. The main scale 4 is marked on the main rod 3 and read through the secondary scale 2. The end part of the electronic calculator 18 is fixed to a supporting part 8 so that the operating keys of an input and output part are located on the same side of the secondary scale and the main scale. In the calculator 18, the key 12 whose multipliers or multiplicand is the elongation percentage of cast metal, the ten-keys calculator 13 shown by a chain line in the Figure, the equal sign key 14 which instructs the read out of a multiplication instruction, an operation instruction, and an operation result, the positional notation key 15, and the display part 16 are provided. |
