ANTENNA STRUCTURE FOR POTABLE TERMINAL HAVING METAL CASE

PURPOSE: A portable terminal with a metal case and an antenna structure thereof are provided to implement various designs in a portable terminal using a metal case with a slot as a radiator. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal includes an antenna(130), a circuit board(120) and a case(150). The antenna has a base(132) and a radiator(134). A base has the rectangular parallelepiped. The radiator is formed in an upper side of the base to transmit and receive the electric wave. The antenna is connected to one side of the circuit board. A feeder of a circuit board is electrically connected to one end of the radiator. The circuit board is connected in the inside of the case. The case is made of the metal material. At least one slot(160) is formed in the case to face the radiator.
