PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for obtaining a focusing portion in an image from the image of one frame. SOLUTION: The image processing device includes: an image reading section obtaining an imaged image; a first high frequency intensity calculating section; a second high frequency intensity calculating section; a noise parameter supply section supplying a noise parameter; a focusing degree calculating section; and a focusing determination section. The first high frequency intensity calculating section produces first high frequency intensity information for showing the correspondence relation between a position in the imaged image and the intensity of a first high frequency component. The second high frequency intensity calculating section extracts a second high frequency component from the imaged image, so as to include a frequency component on the side of an area lower than that of the first high frequency component and produces second high frequency intensity information for showing the correspondence relation between a position in the images image and the intensity of the second high frequency component. The focusing degree calculating section calculates the focusing degrees of the imaged image in a plurality of positions in the imaged image by using the first high frequency intensity information, the second high frequency intensity information and the noise parameter, respectively. The focusing determination section obtains the focusing place of the imaged image, based on the focusing degrees in each position of the imaged image. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
