<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign support apparatus which is disassembled and folded when being carried, and is assembled and expanded from a disassembled and folded state when it is placed at a stadium field or an event site. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sign support apparatus includes a plurality of standing frame portions 1 each of which has upper end sides of two pole brace frames 1-1 connected turnably, and a plurality of X-shaped linking frame portions 2 each of which has center parts of two rod frames 2-1 of the same length connected turnably, and end parts of two rod frames 2-1 of each X-shaped linking portion 2 are turnably connected to a fixing member 8 and a moving member 9 which are provided on pole brace frames 1-1 of each of adjacent standing frame portions arrayed in a row, and respective standing frame portions 1 are connected so that they can be folded and expanded in the array direction. When respective standing frame portions 1 are expanded in the array direction, an upper lateral frame member 3-1 and a lower lateral frame member 3-2 removably attached between standing frame portions 1 in both side ends of expansion out of respective standing frame portions 1 are formed so that they can be bent at an expansion array interval L of pole brace frames 1-1.
