摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device of vehicle capable of suppressing the occurrence of a shock caused when switching a parking mechanism from a restraining state into a restrain-released state or from the restrain-released state into the restraining state.

SOLUTION: This power transmission device 1A predicts the switching operation for switching between the restraining state for restraining a parking gear 14 of the parking mechanism 9 by a parking pole 15 and the restrain-released state for releasing restraining of the parking pole 15 from the parking gear 14 depending on a position of a shift lever 17 detected by a shift position sensor 18 of a shift operation device 10 to reduce braking force of at least either of a first brake and a second brake of a gear shifting mechanism 8A below the predetermined braking force.
