<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crushing air current dryer for maintaining continuous stable operation by preventing wear of a crushing means even by using cement kiln combustion exhaust gas as drying heat source gas, and for efficiently drying aqueous organic waste having a small apparent specific surface area such as high aqueous sludge and being difficult to dry. <P>SOLUTION: In the crushing air current dryer 1, the cement kiln combustion exhaust gas is supplied, and the aqueous organic waste S is dried, and it includes a cylindrical body 4, a rotary shaft 8 provided in the body and extended in a vertical direction, and a rod like striker 15 fixed to one end of the rotary shaft. Since the rod like striker formed integrally without joints like a conventional striking chain is used as a crushing means, there is no partial wear, and since operation is continued in a state with drying reception objects of a reasonable amount adhered to a surface of the rod like striker, wear of the rod like striker is prevented.
