<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for a starting device enabling output by changing over to a depressurization state where an inner pressure is reduced to a fixed pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device 1 including a multi-plate type lockup clutch 3 and connected to a torque converter 4 by three oil paths is provided with a torque converter circulation modulator valve 5, which switches between a non-depressurization state, wherein a secondary pressure P<SB>SEC</SB>is output unchanged as a circulation pressure P<SB>B</SB>to an input port 4b, and a depressurization state, wherein an oil pressure obtained by adjusting the secondary pressure P<SB>SEC</SB>to a constant pressure based on the feedback pressure of the circulation pressure P<SB>B</SB>and the energizing force of a spring 5s is output as the circulation pressure P<SB>B</SB>to the input port 4b. Thereby, the circulation pressure P<SB>B</SB>in the torque converter 4 can be held in the stable depressurization state, so that the controllability can be made satisfactory when the lockup clutch 3 is engaged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
