<p>In a container coupler (1), when an upper coupler (4) and a lower coupler (5) engage with corner couplers (F), respectively, of upper and lower containers via a spring means, if a container is lifted, a container load acts on a lower half portion (42) of the upper coupler (4) intersecting an engaging hole (Fa) of the corner coupler (F) of the upper container and on an upper half portion (51) of the lower coupler (5) intersecting an engaging hole (Fa) of the corner coupler (F) of the lower container. The upper coupler (4) and the lower coupler (5) are forcibly rotated against urging force of the spring means in the direction in which an upper fitting portion (22) and a lower fitting portion (23) are superposed on each other. This causes the lower coupler (5) to pivot up to a position at which the lower coupler (5) is superposed on the lower fitting portion (23) with the upper coupler (4) engaging with the lower corner coupler (F) of the upper container, and as a result, the lower coupler (5) separates from the corner coupler (F).</p> |
