PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve separability of sample gas collected by a collection agent, and to send high-concentration sample gas, in a short time. SOLUTION: In this sample gas collection device 1 having a hollow member 11 having an inletport 11a for introducing the sample gas and an exhaust port 11b for exhausting the introduced sample gas; the collection agent 12, stored in the hollow member 11 for collecting the sample gas; and a heating means 13 for heating the hollow member 11 into a high-temperature state for desorbing the collected sample gas, the sample gas is introduced into the hollow member 11 by the collection agent 12 in a low-temperature state, and desorbing the sample gas collected by the collection agent 12 in a high-temperature state, also has a blocking means 14 for blocking the inlet port 11a when the sample gas is desorbed from the collection agent 12; and a pressure adjustment means 15 for depressurizing the inside of the hollow member 11 in the state where the blocking means 14 blocks the inlet port 11a, and pressurizing to accelerate desorption of the sample gas from the collection agent 12, and to push out the desorbed sample gas from the exhaust port 11b.
