<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump where a stator unit is fixed in such a state that stress is hard to add to a core. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fuel pump is equipped with a tubular housing, a rotor, which is accommodated in the housing, a stator unit, which is arranged around the rotor within the housing, a cover, which blocks the end of the housing, and a pump section, which operates, accompanying the rotation of the rotor. The stator unit has a core, a coil, which magnetizes the core, and a holder, which holds the core and the coil integrally. In the holder, a plurality of extensions, which extend in the axial direction of the rotor and also whose tips are fixed to the cover, are formed in the circumferential direction of the rotor.
