<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cyclohexane dehydrogenation even at a low reaction temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The method for cyclohexane dehydrogenation includes bringing cyclohexane into contact with molecular oxygen in a vapor phase in the presence of a catalyst in which at least one kind of a noble metal is supported on a compound oxide composed of ceria and zirconia. Palladium is preferable as the noble metal.
