METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF THE FIRST EVAPORATOR OF A VACUUM-EVAPORATING PLANT FOR MAKING TOMATO PASTE

A method for automatic control of the first evaporator of a vacuum-evaporating plant (VEP) for making tomato paste includes measuring and regulating the rarefying in the first evaporator of the VEP by changing the consumption of cooling water through a condenser, measuring the level in the first evaporator by means of changing the delivery of the tomato paste into the first evaporator. In addition, current water consumption through the condenser is additionally measured and the rarefying value in the first evaporator of the VEP is corrected proportionally to the result of this measuring with the aid of a Smith’s preventer, the level of the tomato paste is measured and it is regulated in such a manner as not to allow the level to fall outside the permissible limits.
