PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a vertical switch structure for an automobile deck board light and simple. SOLUTION: The vertical switch structure for the automobile deck room capable of switching a deck board 1 of an automobile rear portion at an upper state position and a lower stage position, includes a pair of guide protrusions 21 provided at height which does not exceeding the upper stage position on right and left side surfaces of the deck room, and a pair of notches 13 provided on right and left side surfaces of the deck board 1. So as to guide the rotating movement of the deck board 1 lifting a rear end portion 25 of the deck board 1 upward by using a front end portion 24 of the deck board 1 positioned at the lower stage position as a supporting shaft, the pair of the guide protrusions 21 is included in the pair of the notches 13 on a track of the rotating movement.
