DISPERSION, COMPOSITION FOR TRANSPARENT ELECTROCONDUCTIVE FILM FORMATION, TRANSPARENT ELECTROCONDUCTIVE FILM, AND DISPLAY

Disclosed is a composition for transparent electroconductive film formation that can form a transparent electroconductive film having excellent transparency and a high refractive index. Also disclosed are a transparent electroconductive film obtained from the composition, a display with the transparent electroconductive film, and a dispersion having excellent storage stability for use in the preparation of the composition. An antireflection film is employed, for example, in liquid crystal displays. The composition comprising a metal complex incorporated in a resin solution or a solvent and further a high refractive index metal oxide and an electroconductive metal oxide dispersed therein is used for the formation of the antireflection film. The conventional dispersion for use in the preparation of the composition, however, suffers from problems such as corrosion of equipments and materials used in the dispersion procedure and poor storage stability. The above problem can be solved, for example, by the dispersion of the present invention comprising a metal oxide having a high refractive index of not less than 1.8, an electroconductive metal oxide, an alkoxide-free metal complex, and a dispersion medium, the dispersion having a water content of not more than 3% by mass.
