PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device capable of suppressing the increase in manufacturing cost by making one limiting switch shareable among a plurality of detection dogs. SOLUTION: This lifting device is provided with a fixed body fixed in a ceiling, a winding drum rotatably supported in the fixed body, a suspension member 3, provided freely rotatably in the drum for winding and unwinding, and a lifting body which is suspended/supported in the suspension member 3, and is further provided with the limiting switch 37 which makes the rotation of the drum stop, when pushed. The detection dogs 51, 53, 55 are provided, respectively made to correspond to each of two or more detection items which make the rotation of the drum stop, and the common one limiting switch 37 is shared among these detection dogs 51, 53, 55.
