An operation method of a broadcasting receiver and the broadcasting receiver equipping the same for recording image signal for storing teletext information and image signal included in broadcasting signal are provided to increase the convenience of a user by supplying information storing teletext information included in broadcasting signal. Video recording of teletext information included in the broadcast signal is inputted(S101). First teletext information received in a tuner is stored in a buffer(S102). Second teletext information is from a memory(S103). The first teletext information and the second teletext information are compared. It decides whether to update the first teletext information(S104). If it determines that the first teletext information is updated, the first teletext information is stored in the memory(S105).
