<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket which can prevent a face plate from degrading, and achieves improvement in assembling efficiency and miniaturization of a product, and to provide a fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The gasket 2C holding a lower side of a glass panel 1 is formed of a first holding portion 21 and a second holding portion 22 which are individual from each other, and has a gap S for exposing a lower end face of the glass panel 1 downward secured between the same, and therefore water does not build up in a gap between the gasket 2C and an end face of the glass panel 1. Thus degradation of the glass panel 1, especially degradation of a sealing material 14 due to water or moisture can be prevented, which leads to extension of the service life of the product. Further an abutting portion 23 of the gasket 2C is made of a soft resin material, and a pressing portion 24 of the same is made of a hard resin material, which brings about reduction of frictional resistance when the gasket 2C is inserted into a bottom rail 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
