PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet cutting device, in which repairing work and blade replacement work can be easily and safely carried out to cope with defective cutting action or replacement of cutting blades. SOLUTION: The cutting blade is connected to a pair of drive rotation members which are disposed at a distance to be supported. A transmission means is composed of transmission members to transmit torque of a drive motor to each of the pair of the drive rotation members. On an outer casing, a front cover is provided to be openable/closable for replacement of the cutting blade. A device frame on which the drive motor is installed is disposed in the housing in such a way that the drive motor faces the front cover side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
