PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ribbon-type microphone unit in which a contact resistance between a ribbon-type diaphragm and an electrode is further reduced, and when fixing a terminal portion of a ribbon on the electrode, the terminal portion of the ribbon can be temporarily positioned at a predetermined position, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof and a ribbon-type microphone. SOLUTION: The ribbon-type microphone unit is provided with: a magnet forming a magnetic gap; a ribbon-type diaphragm 5 which is disposed within the magnetic gap and vibrated by sonic waves; an electrode 12 for outputting an electric signal generated by vibration of the diaphragm 5 within the magnetic gap; a frame 7 holding the magnet and the electrode 12; and a pinch-holding member 81 pinching and fixing both terminal portions of the diaphragm 5 in a length direction between the electrode 12 and the pinch-holding member 81. The pinch-holding member 81 is fixed on the frame 7 to press the diaphragm 5, at both terminal portions in the length direction, onto the electrode 12, and between the electrode 12 and the ribbon-type diaphragm 5, fats and oils 85 containing conductive powders are interposed.
